1) Thankful that I had a packed but wonderful weekend filled with people who give such a powerful boost to my energy
2) Monday started well then ran into storms – and I am very thankful I have tools to stabilize my storms

1) That nightmares are just that and you wake into the blessed silence of your own bedroom.

1. I’m not alone/not the only one who felt that way this AM, it seems Perhaps, in part through Three Thanks, by sharing our pain, we can lessen it, and by sharing our joys, we increase them, as Spider Robinson said.

I’m thankful for the contributors to a great Halloween:
* all the people who decorate their homes for the holiday, adding fun throughout the neighborhood
* all the people who dress up in costumes and join the Mall Crawl
* restaurants with heat lamps to let you sit outside on an otherwise somewhat chilly Oct 31 night!

My weekend involved a 4 letter word starting with W, but I am thankful I still managed to get in some excellent time online with friends. I’m specifically thankful for:

1) The fact that in today’s ultra-market-driven consumer-oriented world that people who have some amazing talents are willing to share their wonderful gifts of arts, music and song with those of us who love to partake

2) clean laundry, and how amazingly easy it is to get it in these modern days; having *used* a hand-driven laundry machine as well as having washed my clothes on washboards in the past, it’s amazing how nice it is to ‘have’ to run to the basement every 45 minutes to move loads from one machine to another.

3) being able to take a few minutes, stare out the windows, and watch the deer walk along the treeline behind my house.

My weekend was long and delightful so today I am thankful for:

1) Friends who will dress up, help me dress up, laugh and then celebrate Halloween with me.
2) The three day weekend which really should become a staple.
3) Falling back and that sweet extra hour of sleep that comes with it.

This week I am truly thankful for
1) People in my life, who have thier hearts overflowing with love,who are always there to heal my pain with thoughts, words, actions, spirit
2) Tools and techniques that I are available to me to help me get myself back to compassionate path
3) Consciousness that helps me recognize, acknowledge, & embrace the good that surrounds me everywhere, and step away from negativity. Consciousness that makes me aware of my thoughts, words, actions & how I use them.

I counter your Blaze with my strong opinion that today is the pits.

Which means… three pits!

1) Armpits – Smell bad, look horrid when unshaven. Makes you envious of the genteel octopus who, with eight appendages, joins them to its body without such a foul crevice involved.

2) BBQ Pits – Okay, I like these for the fact that good food comes out of them. They may be a hassle to clean, but that’s the problem – you do not actually clean a BBQ pit. You just assume that the germs get burned away.

3) Brad Pitt – He’s had his good films, he’s had his bad films. Fight Club was the best, I think. But that whole Aniston-Jolie thing? Commitment is so important these days.

There. Done.

Today I am quite thankful for:

1) Clean sheets on my bed and that first sleep on the unwrinkled surface of them.
2) The weather that allows me to have all the windows open in my house so the scent of fall can fill up rooms.
3) Scary movies with friends so you can jump and then laugh together.
