Love is metaphysical gravity.    – Buckminster Fuller

It’s one of those Mondays blurring into Tuesday, fading into Wednesday, sliding into … what day is it again?  It’s this blur that makes me thankful for the most basic things.

Today I’m thankful …

  1. for having and taking the time to stop and remember to be grateful.
  2. for a long sleep from which I finally awoke – groggy and disoriented – but at least rested.
  3. for a deep red glass of wine.

For what are you thankful?

  1. Monday flowed away from me faster than I expected and today I am thankful for:

    1) The onset of fall and the change in colors that will soon paint my mountains.
    2) Weather that allows my bedroom window to be open so that when I nap I wake to the sweet sounds of evening.
    3) Laughing so hard that I can’t breathe and tears stream down my cheeks.

  2. On this busy, crazy rushed week, I am thankful for:

    1) The crisp cool air which hints that a new season is blowing in, the cycle of the seasons a pleasing counterpoint to the daily rush of life.

    2) Pausing, for a quiet moment to count my blessings, and share them friends

    3) New challenges to tackled with old friends and new. To stand still is to deny the journey, sharing it eases one’s feet on the road.
