  1. As the day comes to a close for me, and it is not the next day until you sleep, I am grateful for so many, many things. This week I had a bit of a catastrophe which friends and family keep calling an “adventure”. So, today I am thankful for:

    1) People who will take you in, soaked, freezing and exhausted out of the kindness of their hearts.
    2) Crazy friends who will drive in the snow with their 4-wheel drive truck to get you just so you can stay in your own bed – that’s how much they love you.
    3) The quiet sparkle of a tree finally decorated with memories.
    4) The potential to see those I love, share new moments and make new memories.

  2. Awww Grace, that’s very beautiful and artistic.. but c’mon.. give us three more. 😉

    I’m thankful for:

1.) Improvements in battery technology (Lithium Ion batteries rock)

2.) My cordless drill (to feel like a true stereotypical man of the old days, one must have and use a powerful 18V cordless drill)

3.) Reasonably priced rentals of hammer drills. Cause drilling into concrete without the right tools is NOT fun.
