Three Thanks A Week

Share your gratitude, once a week in three easy bites

June 2 It’s not Monday, but I’m still thankful

with one comment

When I first started this blog, I thought I would need a “routine” to keep things easy and frankly, to help me stay focused. In the beginning the routine was a good thing and posting every Monday morning was certainly improving my Mondays, but somewhere along the line the routine morphed into a “deadline”. Ugh. Now there was a nagging little voice in my head saying “Don’t forget to post Three Thanks!“.

I loathe nagging little voices. I started to feel guilty for not posting and I was piling up all sorts of reasons why I missed the Monday Three Thanks “deadline”. Insanity was within sight.

Then this morning, I stumbled upon Stefan’s talk via ShowYou. At the top of his personal list, and mine:  “Thinking about ideas and content freely – with the deadline far away.”  That’s it! I’m happy to say that while Three Thanks may show up on Mondays, it may also be any other day of the week that’s farther away. I hope that’s okay with you.

Today I am thankful for …

  1. time off with limited accessibility.
  2. sunshine, beaches and being able to peer into the fabric of the universe.
  3. great friends – especially those that will bait your hook AND take of the wiggling, teeth baring moby-esque catch of the day.
For what are you thankful?

  1. Summer is in the air and today I am thankful…

    1) for new space, new possibilities and fresh starts.
    2) that in the end it all worked out and it turned out quite beautiful.
    3) for little gifts that acknowledge when you have done something right along the road.
