Is there anything better than a slow descent into sleep on the beach?

Today I am thankful for

  1. quick escapes and lasting memories.
  2. finding dry ice at the right time and place.
  3. camp sites with electricity and water.
For what are you thankful?

  1. Today I’m thankful for:

    1) The amazing results modern chemistry and phsyics can have in mere hours when dealing with an uncomfortable/potentially dangerous health situation

    2) A job that keeps challenging me (even tho sometimes that very challenge makes me want to claw at the concrete walls)

    3) Friends who remind me that it’s ok to dance alone should I ever want to, because it’s great to get that reminder to enjoy the mental and social freedoms I have and can take advantage of, even if I don’t!

  2. Tuesday brings me closer to the middle of the week and I am quite thankful for

    1) a backyard in bloom where the gentle sway of trees distracts me.
    2) getting to try new things and learn new things all the time; how lucky I am.
    3) the way it feels when you set a goal and complete the action; that sweet satisfaction.

  3. I’m glad this came today – because today is special – I’m thankful for

    1) My mom, who would have been 84 today, were she still alive … her touch is all around me.
    2) The departure (good riddance!) of the sore throat that plagued me all weekend
    3) Raspberries and chocolate, together!
